General Information
In the rolling green countryside of Umbria the Relais il Canalicchio dominates over vinyards and olive groves. Central Umbria is easily visited from this strategic location. Assisi, Todi, Perugia and Deruta are all close. Tuscany is an hours drive.
Once a medieval village with church and tower, now a splendid 4 star Hotel relais with 35 rooms and 14 suites.
Swimming pool, tennis, fine dining and relax.Weddings, baptisms, and other ceremonies are organised with care and pleasure.
Going upstairs, you come to the rooms, some with charming french balconies, others with a large terrace that gives onto the stunning views of the surrounding olive groves and vineyards.
The classic English Country decor has been created with a special eye to detail: each room has been given its own unique identity through splashes of color and personal touches -such as the coordinated drapies, the table lamps, the upholstery, and even the names given to the rooms, such as 'Countess of Oxford, 'Isabelle Rubens', 'Duke of Buckingham' and 'Duchess of Norfolk'.
Here color, charm and that warm welcoming feeling are no less striking than the bright rays of the sunshine streaming through the window, warming the room with natural intimacy.
The Relais has 49 lovely rooms, of which 3 are Suites and 16 are Country Suites (see last pages of brochure). We also have some communicating rooms and 2 rooms for handicapped guests. All rooms have independent air-conditioning, a minibar, satellite television, direct dial telephone and safe.
